Colores

I started on paintings of my three nieces last year and this is the first one completed.   This is my niece Elizabeth who is so sweet and bubbly about life.  She was thirteen years old when I took the photograph for this painting.

Little Paintings Big Practice

Lately I have been on a mission to complete every little painting I started before I start a new series of large oil paintings.    I have three down and four to go.    In one way or another each little painting will help me study and practice my painting skills so I can give my best to this new painting series.

I made this video last night about my painting, My Own Reality.   It is a slide show of my large acrylic painting of Frida Kahlo, painted entirely in dots.   I plan to make more videos,  I hope you like it.
